1. Accepting these terms

By accessing or using Revtons (the "Site"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy , which is incorporated into these terms by reference. If you use the Site on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you're authorised to accept these terms for it, and "you" refers to that organisation. You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. If you don't agree with any part of these terms, please stop using the Site.

In these terms, "Revtons", "we", "us", and "our" mean the operator of this Site; "Site" means our website, content, and services; "User Content" means anything you post or submit; and "product" means any third-party website, software, application, or service we review or list.

2. What we provide

Revtons is an independent platform that publishes hands-on reviews, ratings, comparisons, and deals for products, and lets registered users save products, post reviews, and take part in discussions. We provide information and opinion to help you make your own decisions — we don't sell the products we review, and we're not a party to any purchase you make from a third party.

We may add, change, suspend, or remove features of the Site at any time. We aim to keep the Site available and accurate, but we provide it on an "as is" basis as described in section 9. Some features (such as posting reviews or saving products) require a registered account.

3. Your account

• You're responsible for the accuracy of the information you give us and for keeping your login details secure.
• You're responsible for activity that happens under your account.
• Tell us promptly at [email protected] if you believe your account has been compromised.
• You may close your account at any time; some content you posted publicly may remain (see section 5).

4. Acceptable use

When using the Site, you agree not to:

• Post false, misleading, defamatory, or fake reviews, or reviews you were paid to write without disclosure;
• Impersonate any person or company, or misrepresent your connection to a product;
• Upload unlawful, hateful, harassing, or infringing content;
• Scrape, copy, or republish our content at scale without permission;
• Attempt to disrupt, hack, or gain unauthorised access to the Site or other users' accounts;
• Use the Site for any unlawful purpose or in breach of these terms.

5. Reviews & user content

You keep ownership of the reviews, comments, and other content you post ("User Content"). By posting it, you grant Revtons a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to display, distribute, and promote that content on the Site and our channels.

You're responsible for what you post, and you confirm it's your own honest opinion and experience. We may moderate, edit for clarity, or remove content that breaks these terms or our review guidelines, but we're not obliged to monitor everything posted. Removing your account doesn't automatically delete content already published in public discussions.

6. Affiliate links & deals

Some links on the Site are affiliate links: if you click one and buy, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. This helps keep the Site free. Commission never affects our scores, rankings, or verdicts — see our methodology for how we keep testing independent. Deals and prices are set by the third-party provider and can change; always confirm the current price on the provider's site before buying.

7. Our content & intellectual property

The reviews, scores, text, design, logos, and other material we create are owned by Revtons or our licensors and are protected by law. You may share links to our pages and quote short extracts with clear attribution, but you may not copy, republish, or resell our content without written permission.

8. Third-party products & links

We review and link to third-party products and websites. We don't control them and aren't responsible for their content, pricing, availability, terms, or how they handle your data. Your dealings with any third party are between you and them.

9. Disclaimers

Our reviews and scores are our honest opinions based on hands-on testing at a point in time. Products change, and what's right for us may not be right for you. The Site is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee the Site will always be available, error-free, or that the information is complete or current. Nothing here is professional, legal, or financial advice.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Revtons and its team won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss, or for any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Site. This includes decisions you make based on our content — such as money spent on a product we reviewed or a deal that changed after we checked it. Our total liability to you for any claim relating to the Site is limited to the amount you paid us, if any, in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited, such as liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

11. Indemnity

If your use of the Site or your User Content causes a claim against us by a third party — for example, because you posted something unlawful or infringing — you agree to cover the reasonable costs, damages, and legal fees we incur as a result, to the extent the law allows.

12. Suspension & termination

We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms or our review guidelines, that put the Site or other users at risk, or where the law requires it. Where reasonable, we'll give notice and a chance to put things right. You can stop using the Site and close your account at any time; sections that by their nature should survive (such as content licences, disclaimers, liability, and indemnity) will continue to apply after termination.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time to reflect changes to the Site, our practices, or the law. When we make material changes, we'll update the "last updated" date and, where appropriate, notify registered users. Continuing to use the Site after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.

14. Governing law & disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Dehradun, Uttarakhand will have jurisdiction over any dispute, unless local mandatory law gives you other rights that can't be excluded. Before starting formal proceedings, we'd genuinely prefer you contact us so we can try to resolve things quickly and fairly.

15. General

If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in force. Our not enforcing a term isn't a waiver of it. You may not transfer your rights under these terms without our consent; we may transfer ours if our business is reorganised or sold, without reducing your rights. These terms are the entire agreement between you and us about the Site.
